| FY25 | ₹1,027.94 | ₹138.58 |
| FY26 | ₹1,455.17 | ₹164.14 |
Key Financial Metrics
- Total income grew from ₹1,027.94 crore in FY25 to ₹1,455.17 crore in FY26 — a growth of approximately 42%. PAT grew from ₹138.58 crore to ₹164.14 crore.
- Revenue from operations grew at a 3-year CAGR of approximately 31.40%.
- EBITDA margin: 22.56% — reflecting strong operational efficiency.
- Market capitalisation at upper price band (₹807): ~₹9,300 crore
- Operating cash flow declined from ₹287.10 crore in FY25 to ₹50.39 crore in FY26, despite strong revenue performance — a key concern for investors.
Company Strengths
- Proprietary Truenat platform — one of only two rapid molecular diagnostic platforms globally endorsed by WHO for tuberculosis detection; also ICMR certified, making it deeply embedded in national and global health programmes.
- Patented in more than 100 countries, offering a strong competitive moat and high barrier to entry in the point-of-care molecular diagnostics space.
- Competitive edge lies in robust R&D capabilities and a wide distribution network catering to both urban and rural healthcare settings.
- Serves customers across more than 90 countries with six manufacturing facilities in India — providing geographic and operational scale.
- Strong and consistent revenue growth with a 3-year CAGR of ~31.40% in revenue from operations
- Diversified subsidiary structure including Bigtec Pvt. Ltd. and Prognosys Medical Systems Pvt. Ltd., covering diagnostics, medical systems, and adjacent technologies.
Key Risks & Challenges
- High government dependency — 84.56% of FY26 revenue was derived from Indian central/state governments and international aid agencies. Any policy changes could significantly impact sales.
- Operating cash flow declined sharply from ₹287.10 crore in FY25 to ₹50.39 crore in FY26, despite strong revenue performance — raising concerns about cash conversion quality.
- High inventory levels of ₹435.91 crore as of March 31, 2025. Since the specialised Truenat kits have a limited shelf life of only two years, inaccurate demand forecasting can lead directly to material losses.
- Concentrated supplier base — raw material purchases from top 10 suppliers accounted for 58.21% of total consumption in FY25, posing supply chain risk.
- OFS-heavy IPO: Of the total ₹939.70 crore raised, approximately ₹739.70 crore (79%) goes to selling shareholders — limiting fresh capital inflow to the company.
- R&D and product approval risk — the company depends on successful R&D and timely regulatory approvals for new diagnostic tests. Failure to develop or obtain approvals could impact growth.
